About Me

My name is Madison Byler, and I'm a self-taught acrylic artist based in Hinesville, Georgia. I specialize in custom pet portraits, landscapes, and still life pieces. I also regularly create murals, most often for businesses and restaurants, and I've painted murals in places across southeast Georgia. My art classes, whether open to the public or booked as private events, allow for a fun, low-pressure space for beginners to create art together.

I'm proud to serve on the board of the Hinesville Area Arts Council, where I began and currently manage the Member Artist program for local artists to connect with one another. I'm also a member of Arts On The Coast and the Liberty Melting Pot of Art, and I've been featured in Voyage Savannah as well as in Liberty Neighbors and Island Neighbors magazines. 

I debuted my first solo show, BEGINNINGS, at the Hinesville Area Arts Council gallery in 2022. In April of 2024, my large-scale floral painting "Memory from Our Yard" was selected to appear in Art in Bloom, a competitive, juried exhibition. In March of 2025, I debuted my second solo show, HUNGRY, at the Hinesville Area Arts Council gallery.

Outside of painting, I enjoy writing and poetry. Although my professional focus post-college is now on visual art, I graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Georgia. I love to spend time with my husband, our toddler, and our two crazy little dogs.
